2026 | The Experience

The Fashion Mosaic is a two-day, community-driven fashion experience rooted in creativity, connection, and storytelling. Each day offers a distinct yet connected experience, bringing together industry creatives, local talent, and the Aurora community.

Taking place July 10–11, 2026, this year’s experience is designed to feel both elevated and intentional, expanding on everything that made our first year so impactful.

Friday, July 10: Panel + Mixer
An intimate evening designed for connection and conversation. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with industry creatives through a curated panel discussion, followed by a mixer and pop-up vendor experience. This night is centered around insight, networking, and exposure, creating space for meaningful dialogue and new opportunities.

Saturday, July 11: Runway Showcase
A high-energy runway experience celebrating local businesses, designers, and stylists. The evening begins with a VIP cocktail hour, followed by a dynamic runway show featuring curated looks, live storytelling, and immersive visuals. Each brand takes the stage not only to showcase their work, but to share their story, creating a powerful blend of fashion and community.

Together, both days reflect the heart of The Fashion Mosaic: by industry creatives, for the Aurora community.

The Fashion Mosaic exists to create space for community, creativity, and opportunity through fashion. Our mission is to uplift local designers, businesses, and artists by giving them a platform to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

We believe fashion is more than clothing, it is storytelling, identity, and connection. By bringing together industry creatives and the Aurora community, we aim to bridge gaps in access, inspire the next generation, and create experiences that feel both intentional and impactful.

    Breyona Smith

    FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    As the Founder and Creative Director, Breyona created The Fashion Mosaic with community at the center. She shapes the creative vision, curates the experience, builds connections, and ensures every detail reflects the spirit, stories, and talent of the people it’s built for.

    SHAMONE SEAY

    EVENT COORDINATOR

    As Event Coordinator, Shamone brings structure, precision, and industry expertise to The Fashion Mosaic. As the owner of Evenda Events & Rentals Unlimited, she plays a key role in logistics, vendor coordination, and event flow—ensuring each experience is seamless, intentional, and executed at a high level.

    TRINA MAXWELL

    FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR

    As Fundraising Coordinator, Trina supported second-round outreach to local businesses, helping curate meaningful swag and favor bags for each attendee. She also assisted with follow-ups related to sponsorship outreach, playing a key role in strengthening community involvement and enhancing the overall attendee experience of The Fashion Mosaic.

    BRIANNA JENNES

    GRAPHIC DESIGNER

    As Graphic Designer, Brianna brought the visual identity of The Fashion Mosaic to life. Working from the event’s creative vision and direction, she translated concepts into iconic flyers, the official event program, and the first iteration of the website—helping establish a cohesive and recognizable visual presence for the event.

    NANCI FLOWERS

    BACKSTAGE DIRECTOR

    As Backstage Director, Nanci Flowers leads the coordination and flow of the runway backstage at The Fashion Mosaic. She directs model lineup, ensures garments are styled and fitted properly before hitting the runway, and helps keep models, hair, and makeup teams on schedule leading up to showtime. Working closely with the production team, Nanci helps ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while the runway comes to life.
